Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival 2018 - Food and Prices

Festival Beer Garden Offerings

Festival Beer Garden Offerings

So, as you can probably tell from the blog posts, Disney Food Kiosks are my life. I just love them - I love trying everything I can get my hands on. I have such a fun time incorporating the DCA food festivals into my Disney trips. For better or for worse, I am excited and dedicated to trying TONS of different foods at the food festivals (updates on reviews for later).

The Food and Wine Festival of 2018 at Disney's California Adventure is slated to run from March 2nd through April 12th. So, if you're gonna be around during that time - be sure to check out all the yummies!

To be honest, I'm really not much of a drinker. There may be drinks that intrigue me at this event - but all in all, I'm really more in it for the food stuffs.

For those of you out there that don't know what the Food and Wine Festival is, I'll tell you :). The tradition started out small, with only two kiosks in DCA, in 2006. It ran through 2010 until it stopped and returned in full swing in 2016. Since 2016, it's been getting bigger and better! This year, there will be 13 kiosks making up the primary food and wine sales, along with a sit down menu at the Paradise Grill Area, and a Festival Beer Garden. However, it's so much more than that. There are opportunities to take wine tasting seminars, watch celebrity chefs at work, attend food educations, schedule special dinners, attend culinary demonstrations, listen to live music, and more. Some of these are paid events and some are unpaid. Still, there's so much to look at and attend, even if you can't afford all the extra add-ons.

I've heard rumors that there will still be the opportunity for Annual Passholders to purchase a "Sip and Savor Pass", unconfirmed yet though. In the past, for $45, you get a card with 8 coupons to be used at the festival booths for food/non-alcoholic drink. In addition, you get a simple lanyard to hold your coupon card. I highly recommend this purchase and use it every time one of these food festivals comes to town. Still, I must advise you to keep in mind that for $45 per card of 8, the average cost comes out to about $5.62 per course. Let's say you're paying for the lanyard too and just knock that down to $5.50 per course. I would recommend using the card only on courses costing more than $5.50 and paying cash otherwise, in order to get the most bang for your buck.

I'd say that's enough chatting, if you have specific questions, feel free to leave me a comment and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability. From here include the delicious menu items.
